Purnaga Sikhyare Abhibhabakanka Bhumika

A child's first educational institution is their family and the environment of their childhood. In other words, parents themselves are the educators of their first phase. After coming to school, they begin to receive formal education in a systematic manner. Parents of students studying in those schools that have adopted holistic education as their ideal must remain informed and aware about this ideal. This is absolutely essential. The deepest purpose of holistic education is to awaken and nurture the divine life-aspiration that exists within human beings, and to lead life and environment forward towards perfection in this ideal. Therefore, parents have an important role to play in this, just like teachers. If they remain uninformed about this matter, they will not be able to properly understand this new educational approach or the education that their children are receiving. With this intention, in the November-December 1986 issue of "Purnanga Sikhyapatra" selected portions from The Mother's words and writings were published as a special issue titled "Purnanga Sikhya Abhibhabaka" under the chief editorship of Sri Prapatti.
